“At Contempo Property Holdings Inc., we take pride in highlighting community-driven initiatives that create lasting impact,” said Contempo Property Holdings Inc. President and CEO, Beverly Dayanan as she shared the company’s collaboration with Operation Smile in partnership with Bernardo Benedicto Foundation.
“This unified effort exemplifies the power of collaboration and compassion in transforming lives. This advocacy has become a beacon of hope for children and families affected by cleft conditions in Cebu and beyond,” she added.
A Mission to Restore Smiles and Build Confidence
Operation Smile is dedicated to providing free surgical procedures to individuals with cleft lip and cleft palate. These conditions, if untreated, often lead to challenges in eating, speaking, and socializing. For many affected children, attending school becomes a struggle as they face bullying and stigma.
The project began in 2020 with the ambitious goal of addressing the estimated 20,000 cases of untreated clefts in Cebu. Through the tireless efforts of dedicated volunteers and the support of partner organizations, this initiative continues to make a profound difference in the lives of many families.
Expanding the Advocacy to Davao Oriental
Inspired by its success in Cebu, the advocacy aims to extend its reach to Davao Oriental, particularly in District 1. The vision is to bring the same level of care and support to families in the region, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to lead a confident and healthy life.
This heartfelt mission is fueled by the desire to uplift communities, break barriers, and empower individuals through access to essential medical care. With prayers, dedication, and community support, this dream is steadily becoming a reality.
How You Can Help
We believe that everyone has a role to play in this life-changing mission. Whether through volunteering, donating, or spreading awareness, your support can help bring smiles and transform lives. Together, let’s make this advocacy a source of hope and healing for more communities.
