Beyond real estate, Contempo Property Holdings Inc. (CPHI) Founder and CEO Beverly Dayanan continues to extend their commitment in creating resilient and sustainable communities, by sharing their gifts through Light the World Giving Machines stationed at Level 1, Paseo de Ciudad, Ayala Center Cebu.
The Light the World Giving Machines have expanded to 28 locations around the world, arriving in Manila in 2018 and finally launching in Cebu in November 2022. Anyone can channel their donations through them until January 1, 2023, during mall hours.
“I believe fostering sustainability is not only limited to the spaces we build in real estate,” Dayanan said. “Reaching out to those in need is the first step to building a resilient community.”
Together with Contempo Admin Manager Jojie Tajanlangit, HR Officer Isalume Toremocha, and Sales and Marketing Junior Supervisor Florisa Oscillada, Dayanan led Contempo Property Holdings in donating multivitamins for children, bedding materials, shelter repair kits, as well as student load allowance and educational needs for children through the Giving Machines.
The innovative charity project is spearheaded by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, channeling 100% of donations to food, hygiene kits, educational materials and resources, water treatment, emergency and repair kits, vitamins, eyeglasses, medical kits, gardening tools, and psychosocial support for the beneficiaries of credible non-profit organizations (NGO). This year, the chosen NGOs in Cebu are Cebu Caritas, Feed the Children, Inc., and Mabuhay Deseret Foundation, Inc.
