Bamboo Bay Community Tower 1 Initiates Groundbreaking

May 19, 2013 | Category One

BAMBOO Bay Community initiated the construction of its first tower on Hernan Cortes Street, Subangdaku, Mandaue City on April 16, 2013. This groundbreaking ceremony marked the commencement of their mission to provide quality and affordable housing solutions to their clientele.

In a remarkable feat, Tower One has already sold out, underscoring a significant triumph for Bamboo Bay, despite its launch a mere five months prior. The rapid growth is particularly notable given the newcomer status of the project in the industry.

Construction of Tower One commenced on the same day, with completion anticipated before the conclusion of 2015, coinciding with the turnover of the units.

A significant portion of their clientele comprises young professionals, newlyweds, retirees, and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) hailing from Cebu and beyond.

“Our community is geared towards fostering family bonds,” remarked Beverly Dayanan, President and CEO of Contempo Property Holdings, Inc.

She emphasized that what began as a dream and a concept is now materializing into reality.

“We aim to cultivate a strong sense of community,” Dayanan emphasized.

The Vision Behind Bamboo Bay Community

Bamboo Bay Community is envisioned as an Asian-Filipino resort enclave that embraces Filipino cultural values, such as festive celebrations and religiosity. The community hosts annual fiestas, weekly masses, and maintains a community store.

Jonah Lafuente, Vice President of Marketing, expressed their desire to encourage communal living among residents, ensuring they do not feel confined within their units.

They pledge to provide a community that promotes well-being and a rejuvenating atmosphere through amenities such as a shared pool, gym, barbecue stations, and clubhouse.

“This epitomizes the essence of the Filipino community,” Dayanan affirmed.

With lofty aspirations for Towers Two and Three, Bamboo Bay Community anticipates full completion and operational readiness by 2018.
